The Islander Hotel formerly known as The Aquarius Hotel is a small ‘Boutique’ Hotel located on a secluded beachfront only two minutes walk across the road from Rarotonga International Airport, and a 10 minute walk into downtown Avarua.

This property features 13 air-conditioned Cabanas, all with one or two split king size beds, en suite, ceiling fans, fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. The restroom provides a shower and welcome toiletries.

This friendly little hotel is well known for its fantastic waterfront location, stunning panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, surf club character, large outdoor entertainment & dining areas, daily sunsets and relaxed tropical ambience.

The Coco Grill Restaurant & Tiki Bar serves breakfasts, all day-lunch and dinner offering the best selection of fine food and beverages. The Islander Hotel has recently opened the ‘Hula Bar’ which sits close to the beach and has an open deck that overlooks the lagoon. Hula Bar offers an all day happy hour and is a great place to unwind and mix and mingle with other guests.
